The tea tree percentage is the product

The wrong percentage of tea tree in an eyelash cleanser can damage eye health, and may do nothing to the Demodex mite. Too little and the mites survive. Too much and you irritate the eye you were trying to help. Chrissanthie is balanced to clean safely and still eradicate the bacteria, which is what happens when an ophthalmologist formulates the product rather than a cosmetics lab.

Our story

Kind, green and scientific

In practice we kept seeing clients with dry, red, scratchy eyes, symptoms of blepharitis caused by a build up of bacteria, oils, allergens, toxic makeup and unsanitised eyelash extensions. Nothing on the shelf was made for it, so we made it. The company is about women, by women, and for women in South Africa, and it now ships to 26 countries.
